An example of providing GPS capabilities inside a Wherigo cartridge. Version 1.7 fixes a problem with saving and restoring, which lost waypoint information. Better handling of poor accuracy preventing you from doing silly things. Note there may be an issue with creating new waypoints on the Colorado with firmware 2.7 - there seems to be a limit on input text string length that I'm sure wasn't there before - that will be addressed in the next release.

About This Cartridge

This cartridge is an example of how to build your own GPS into a Wherigo cartridge, with the ability to enter in a waypoint to navigate to.

I might consider releasing this under Creative Commons Licencing in the future once I have got the bugs out of it. Your testing will help :)

Future enhancements planned include:

1) Reorganise the input of coordinates for creating a new waypoint manually.
2) Research limits on numberof waypoints (currently the code imposes no limits but a crash could probably be caused if too many are added)
3) Allow resuming a waypoint averaging run to update it after saving and restoring the cartridge

Starting Location

There is no starting location and no completion code because this is published to make it available for general testing.

If you find problems, issues (crashes!!) etc. please let me know. Thanks

I'm imressed! to say the least... I've just made my first Wherigo and I can say that this Play anywhere cartridge is very well constructed with complicated scripts and commands.
