We really like wherigo caches so we planned to do these the weekend of the Mega event. The car park was free on a Sunday which was a bonus. A fabulous walk with stunning views and a great story.

I played as Ed Malone Unfortunately I made a bad choice and didn't have the required piece of equipment to do the necessary , so a long walk back to base camp for me and Mr unowho while Monki and Blue Nora were able to carry on with their adventure. It was worth while though as I was able to bring back proof that dinosaurs exist

We soon had the final co-ords and once at GZ I located the cache quickly, now on for the bonus .

Many thanks for setting up this wherigo cache for us to enjoy today

This was one of the wherigos we played on our road trip around Scotland. After talking to another cacher about this wherigo at an event earlier in the year we realised this wasn't going to be a 'walk in the park' so we made sure we were very well prepared, one of our concerns was battery life on the smartphones so we made sure we had our portable battery charger with us as it looked like it might take some time to complete, especially if we made some poor decisions early on in the game. Luckily we made all the right choices during the game apart from the bit where Mrs D was killed by falling into a chasm(careless) but luckily was able to regenerate and rectify the mistake she'd made (very handy). It really was a thoroughly enjoyable wherigo and we particularly liked how the story fitted in with the surroundings. A lovely area to explore.

Having created many of our own wherigos we fully appreciate the time and effort that has gone into setting this one up for us to enjoy.
