Short adventure, can you out with the evil creature?

About This Cartridge

Welcome to Riddles in the Dark Wherigo.
Your adventure will pit you up against a dreadful creature. You must outwit him with brains rather than brawn. This creature will try and stop you with trickery and stab you with the most cunning weapon of his, WORDS. If you succeed in your quest you will be given the task of finding the magical container and hiding  the ring from his and any other prying eyes.

Starting Location

Nature Center North Trailhead

The Hobbit is dear to me. A second grade teacher read it to us doing all the voices. That inspired me to learn to read. The Hobbit was the first book I read. Loved that this Whereigo used the book for this adventure.

I love to hike. This gave me a good tour of the area. Snow on the ground made the adventure more interesting as it covered key areas of the lesser used trails.

Thankfully I remembered most of the riddle answers. Give single words for the answers. A good riddle source helped verify answers for the harder ones.

Thank you for the adventure and cache. It's a favorite of mine.

I enjoyed completing this nicely done Wherigo. Fun story line and great tour of the park. My batteries were running low towards the end, so I was glad that it didn't go on too much longer. Thanks for all the effort that went into creating this fine cache.

I have to post a log because I can not get the unlock code to work. Oh my gosh I don't know where to start with this wherigo! This has to be one of the funniest wherigo I have done to date and the company I was with was even funnier. The very first question I knew we were in trouble but I was sorta prepared for the adventure. It took us a little longer because our brains weren't as sharp as I would of liked but in the end there was only one question that stumped us for a while. Eventually we figured it out and found the hidden treasure! This would be fun for the whole family and the hike is fairly easy. Thanks
