Since its inception, five Native Americans have been awarded the highest U.S. military honour, the Medal of Honor. Two of those were awarded posthumously. This cartridge is one of a series of six that honors the five men and all members of Ogitchida-Protectors of the People.

It was a windy and wild winter day. This was the first Wherigo I completed on my own. Worked like a charm. It was a wonderful story of heroism. I believe it is important to know of the contribution of our First Nations people. Loved the hike. Had the park all to myself today.

At this time of the year the path was not well defined and the hills are wet and slippery.

Hit a favourite trail today, November 11, to honour Jack Montgomery (and all veterans).
Had enough confidence in the hardware (and in myself) to take it on a hike, and it went very well. Love this trail so much that it was where we went for one of our first cache hunts when we started this in the spring. Would like look for the Mad Trapper, but that will have to wait until I have a device that will hold a charge for more than a coupla hours. Thanks for a nice experience looking forward to more.
