We should have read the instructions carefully at the start as we failed to pick up the pen so left the later part for a second visit when all went well and the cache container was successfully located. Technology worked fine.

After a heavy day on the ale in Chester yesterday we made our way to Harrogate for our first visit. Having checked into the hotel we took a walk down towards the start of the Wherigo where things went fine with both an iPhone 5 and a Garmin Oregon 450, we encountered no issues along the short journey, apart from the wind doing a very good job of blowing us about here and there An interesting location to meet up with George before heading off to the final cache, where we made a quick find with zero muggles about, which was a nice surprise.

We'd had just about all we could take of shopping and, to be fair, the girls had had enough of caching for one day so we decided to split up and the boys headed off to tackle the Wherigo. As we approached the first stage we noticed someone standing with the familiar hunch of a cacher over his phone/GPSr. Surely someone else couldn't have chosen the exact same time as us to do this one. Now being shy and retiring we may not have taken this any further but thankfully the other cacher made a point of checking us out and we're pleased he did. Great to meet dragondrop, Elsie and your little one. We then spent some time playing the Wherigo together before parting for dragondrop to complete the cache and us to make fools of ourselves on the front lawn of the hotel!

The traffic into Harrogate was quite bad so when we finally arrived here it was dark. We wasn't sure how the 'disc parking zones' worked here so I google it and soon realised we needed a dics for the window, so Mr unowho went into the nearby hotel to enquire where we could get one from and they let us have one . We set off not knowing if we would be able to do this in the dark as we had left our torch at home, but felt it was worth a try. We really enjoyed this one, it made me smile and Mr unowho grumble just a little . While we were walking to the final zone I downloaded a torch app on the iphone which came in handy at the final location for a nice quick find.

Had great fun completing our first Wherigo - we will now be looking for others to have a go at.
The cartridge worked perfectly and took us to GZ where we found the cache. Not sure if you had to do anything at the end to finish the game though!
