A Wherigo cartridge is a self-contained file that contains the media and logic for each adventure, tour guide, etc. It's disconnected from the network so you can play wherever GPS signals can reach you. These cartridges can be created through the Wherigo Builder or by hand.

Wherigo cartridges use Lua, a powerful, fast, light-weight embeddable scripting language. Using the compile web service you can zip up your own creations and have the site convert them to Wherigo cartridge downloads.
