This is a quiz style Wherigo that will lead you to a geocache.

About This Cartridge

This Quiz style Wherigo will ask you questions about the trails in Rocky Mountain National Park and the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Get the question right and you move on. Get it wrong and you are out.

Starting Location

The quiz can be completed anywhere but the geocache is an urban hide in Estes Park CO.

An interesting, but short Wherigo! It was easy to answer and the final wasn't hidden that difficult. TFTC!

We had trouble getting the cartridge to play on our Garmin Oregon 450 -- and understand that Garmin no longer supports Wherigo's. So, we downloaded the free WhereYouGo app for our Android phone and after figuring out what folder we should put the cartridge into (Dad is not very tech savvy, unfortunately), got it to work without a hitch. We did that at home, nowhere near Estes Park. Then, several days later while on vacation, opened up WhereYouGo, and went to the "Locations" button and off we went. Got the smiley with no trouble at all. Nice idea for a Wherigo, especially since we got this one after going through Rocky Mountain National Park. TFTW !!!

We planned our trip to Estes Park to arrive on the last day of Elk Fest... to see what that is all about. We got into town in the early afternoon and started walking around, checking out the different vendors and buying some snacks like funnel cakes and snow cones. We also heard the conclusion of the Elk calling contest. Meanwhile, I started working on this quiz-style Wherigo on my iPhone 4. We have been to both the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and the Rocky Mountain National Park, so I did this quiz without doing any research at all. I didn't get it correct on the first try, but I did get it on the second try.

When I got through the cartridge to the point where it leads you to the final, we were less than 300' feet away from the hide, so I took my dad and our geo-puppy away from the rest of our group to help go find the cache.

It took us a few minutes of searching around before I read the hint. After that, we had it in hand within a few seconds.

I love Wherigos; this one worked great so I'll give it 5 stars here on wherigo.com and a favorite point over on geocachig.com.

The only issue I had was that I could not unlock the cartridge from my iPhone by uploading my saved game. I had to do it from my computer using the completion code that was placed in my inventory at the end of the cartridge.

Thanks for the time and effort that went into creating this Wherigo!
