Version 1.1 Released.
Simple 4-zone geocaching whereigo that starts outside the Ancient High House in Stafford, England.
Be warned - You may still encounter bugs, whereigo is new to me! Also, at 1.3Mb, we're not sure if all devices will work OK...
About This Cartridge
Aethelflaed founded Stafford in 913, to make pots for her armies! Help her to celebrate the first Staffordware pot, then find the 'treasure'. Play the part of a thain from Wessex, tasked with retrieving the treasure from the new town of Stafford. By way of payment you have brought provisions to celebrate the founding of the town, the new capital of Mercia!
Oddites reported:
There is a key task that you must perform. Be careful to put the item exactly in the right place or the Queen will stay annoyed at you! If you really getb stuck and can't think, go talk to the Princess, after 5 times she'll take pity on you!
Blank screens: on android some people get a big blank box with 'ok' on it at times. I can't work out why. Just click OK.
Many thank to the BBC History team for providing some of the imagery used in this game.
Starting Location
The Ancient High House in Stafford, England.

This was my first whereigo and I did over two days, whilst walking the dog, even she was looking at me funny walking back and forth. A good history lesson and I upset the queen a few times but managed to keep the queen and the princess happy in the end, a nice walk to find the treasure glad it was quiet this evening not a soul about. Really enjoyable thank you for my first experience of this.

Enjoyed the live 'History' lesson - Upset the Queen more than once ... but eventually made both 'royals' smile..amazing what a 'wee dram' can do. Think the final co-ords provided by the Princess are a bit 'off' (don't think we should be walking to Four Ashes past the Gailey Roundabout on the A449?-- but you should be able to work out where the treasure really is...
