About This Cartridge

Welcome to the Wherigo designed for the 9th Midwest Open Geocaching Adventure or MOGA 2012 put on by Iowa Geocachers Organization (IGO).

This is a short tour of the Honey Creek Resort State Park. The posted coordinates will take you to a large parking area to get you close to the start of this adventure.

This Wherigo has sound so if your using a smart phone or another GPSr unit with speakers be sure to turn up the volume. If you don't have speakers don't worry you can still enjoy the experience. Just be sure to keep an eye on your GPSr and get ready to have some fun!

Thank you, and have fun!

Finished the Wherigo, though I didn't find the final cache. Thanks for making it!

Finished this one as my group finished attending MOGA 2012. We had a couple of problems with both an Oregon 450 and an Oregon 550. But interim saves allowed us to finally get-er-done!! Thanks for the tour!!

I was fortunate enough to visit this great WIG during Iowa's MEGA weekend.
Nicely done, sir. But I've come to expect nothing less.
This one ran without any issues on my Garmin Oregon.

This WIG gave us some challenges, but we were able to get the end and find the goal. The unexpected maintenance on the pier caused a slight delay, but did not stop us. Thanks for a great WIG challenge.

Friday afternoon was the beginning of a great MOGA adventure with Vulcan64 and TheGeneral1004 and ended Sunday morning around 1:00 AM after several caches, 10 cache types, and 900 miles of caches, both easy and challenging, and a lot of fun. The events were great and it was a lot of fun to run into some very good friends and to meet some new friennds along the way. There were several connections made that I am hopeful that some will persist. It was fun to make new friends with people from Texas, Iowa, Minnesota, and Missouri. What a great time! TFTC.
