This Wherigo will take you on a tour around the Ballarat Botanic Gardens to view a selection of National Trust trees listed on the register of significant trees of Victoria.
The Register of Significant Trees of Victoria was launched by the National Trust in 1981. The purpose of the register is to recognise and record significant trees with the aim of improving their management, encouraging their protection and where possible extending their life span.
Starting Location
Start at the main front gate of the Ballarat Botanic Gardens at the Zebra crossing.

Enjoyed an evening walk around the garden and loved the information that popped up at all the right places, and I learnt so much that I didn't know. Such wonderful trees with lots of history!! Thanks very much for this wherigo!!

I was in town for a series of great events and enjoyed the walk around the pro (even if I had to do the first bit twice ) Unfortunately, despite a call to a previous finder, I was unable to located the cache :(

Absolutely fantastic. Our first wherigo cache. Done with geokids 1&3. The geokids loved it and enjoyed the reward of a cache at the end. Thanks for putting this wherigo together.
