A quick tour around some of the features of Johnstone Park in Geelong, with some "virtual" tasks thrown in for fun. You will need to accomplish these tasks in order to obtain the coordinates for the final physical geocache.
The creation of this Wherigo cartridge is further evidence that emus like to be on the cutting-edge of technology.
About This Cartridge
A quick tour around some of the features of Johnstone Park in Geelong, with some "virtual" tasks thrown in for fun. You will need to accomplish these tasks in order to obtain the coordinates for the final physical geocache. Allow 30-45 minutes for the tour, or more if you wish to rest and enjoy a snack while you're here.
Whereigo is still in development by Groundspeak so from time to time you may see it lock up on your unit. Some Wherigo developers have suggested that you save your Cartridge after any interaction with it (e.g. picking up an item) so you don't have to re-start the adventure from the beginning if your unit does lock up. Please ensure you have the latest version of the Whereigo Player loaded on your PDA.
This Cartridge has been completed using both the Garmin Colorado and Pocket PC. Emulator use is permitted, to encourage geocachers to try this new technology even if they don't have the required hardware yet.
The associated geocache is GC1BCA3. Have fun!
Starting Location
Commencing outside the Geelong Library, Johnstone Park is within walking distance of either Geelong Station or the main city centre. There are many places to park your car nearby, but be aware that it is "metered" for much of the week.

This was only our second where I go cache, was kind of a hot day today, yet we still enjoyed our emu guided tour around the park! TFTC

Did this one with the family. Was a little hard to find the final but got there in the end. Unlock code didnt save to cartridge on phone.

Downloaded this a long time ago and either had time but too many muggles, or no muggles and no time. Today we had time and there were few muggles. Took some getting used to the Wherigo functions, but once we figured it out it was great to play with GeoKid!

Played this a while ago but didn't find the cache.
Once I realised that it was not virtual I returned today and discovered this well concealed container. It still took some searching though.
