A compact informative walk around Wakerley Great Wood.
About This Cartridge
Wakerley Great Wood is a great place to go for picnics, quiet walks, birdwatching and horse riding. It has two waymarked walks, one is an all-ability trail, the other a longer trail on muddier paths. Try out the orienteering course with maps available from the forest district office. Wakerley Great Wood is an historic ancient woodland. The car park is set amongst majestic larch and includes a large grassed area for games and picnicing. Barbecue points are provided. A permanent orienteering course, all-ability woodland path, and a longer waymarked trail all leave from the car park.

A nice little wherigo on good paths. Only problem I had was that when I was at 17 ft from the final my gps told me I was there and I didnt know which way to look as I couldnt get the co ords to show - used common sense and the clue and the great container was soon to hand. I do like a wherigo and appreciate the effort that has gone into developing this one. Although the whereigo on my gps said I had completed it and I saved the game I was unable to upload the gws file as I received the message that it was incomplete. TFTW

Played this Wherigo the day after the Halloween Mega with The Old Soldier, The Greek Noon and one part of Oddies Crew. As others have said it didn't take too long.

We did this Wherigo on the day of the Halloween Mega 2014. It was good fun, nice and straightforward, and led to a great cache container.
