About This Cartridge
A tour of Hagar Park - A Wherigo for the geocache Event known as Age of Discovery 2009. This popular 104 acre family park has a full array of recreational opportunities including extensive picnic areas and nature trails. The mature hardwood forest is well known for its spectacular spring wildflowers in April and May. A highlight of the park is the Age of Discovery community-built playground which overlooks a terrain map of the United States. Hager Creek has become highly eroded and is currently the focus of a major creek restoration project.
Starting Location
Welcome to Hagar Park. The initial coordinates for this tour are a great spot for parking. From here, you will tour the various elements of Hagar Park on foot (as bikes are not allowed on the unpaved trails).

This was the first Wherigo that we have completed! We tried two other ones, but we couldn't get them to work. Thanks for the fun adventure around this park! We loved it!
