A walking tour of the Russian Village in Claremont, CA.

About This Cartridge

This wherigo will take you on a tour of Claremont's Historic Russian Village. This is a walking tour, with stops at 15 houses. This 1/4 mile loop returns to the starting location. It should take less than 30 minutes; longer if you take a lot of photos. The geocache is less than 1/2 mile from the beginning of the tour.

The zones in this cartridge are large (at least 10'x20'), so you should have little trouble entering them. Also, the game will automatically save your progress at each zone; just in case.

Cartridge compiled using the Urwigo editor.

Starting Location

The beginning coordinates are for the nearest good parking. Start there.

This is one of the absolute best Wherigos I have ever done (and certainly the best in SoCal). Kudos for the depth of detail presented as we went from location to location; especially so since we never would even known of this location otherwise. Great history, and loved the way the story line required additional actions to eventually construct our own slice of neighborhood history. Wish I could add multiple favorites, as this one is definitely deserving.

We played the cartridge on an Oregon, Colorado and Android, and without a doubt the best experience was with the WhereYouGo player on the Android as it provided a much larger and richer interaction.

Very nice tour of the area. We all learned a lot and got to talk to the home owner with the county line through her backyard. She has lived there here whole life. She gets 2 property tax bills.
