Welcome to the Union Buildings, the official seat of the South African government and also house the offices of the president of South Africa.
This is a short tour of the lesser known monuments at the Union Buildings which are not necessarily mainline interest any more, but are still there 'Lest we forget...'
We will start at the Western entrance to the Union Buildings at the closest parking to the first "monument".

We enjoyed the stroll between the monuments in the gardens.
It was a pleasant winters day and although is was mid winter the gardens were beautiful.

This was enjoyed by myself and Tartan_Terror_Junior together with her cousin. The gardens were reasonably clean and free of muggles.
We used WhereYouGo Version 0.9.3 on Samsung Galaxy S7 as well as on Samsung Galaxy Tab S2. The App insralled on the tablet functioned throughout the tour, but the one installed on the phone stopped functioning at furst waypoint.

We played the cartridge using both a GPS and a Smart Phone and the Wherigo worked perfectly on both devices.
A most enjoyable walk around the area, visiting locations 'less visited' and highlighting items that are easily missed if not being searched for.

This was a nice walk around the union building grounds!
We really enjoyed it!
Junior can not walk that far so for the first and the last we drove closer by with the car.
