About This Cartridge
Welcome to the El Dorado County Fairgrounds. This cartridge is intended as a walking tour of the entire park, stopping to view many of the plaques that pay tribute to people who have supported the fair with their time and generosity. Except when the fair is running, or during special events, the fairgrounds are free to enter. We take My Dal Leo for walks here nearly every day, following the same route as this cartridge.
Starting Location
To get started, begin just outside the main gate, known as the "Green Gate."

Lots of fun and it makes for an enjoyable walk around the fairgrounds. It took about 45 minutes and no problem with the cartridge on my Android phone.

Spent this lovely, Spring-like afternoon with GT wandering the park like setting which we had nearly all to ourselves. Was very nice to cache up today and do this WIG cartridge. Big thanks to the 3 of you for placing it here and adding some history of the Fair to our brains...have to say we were busy talking and so it took longer than it should have...guessing about an hour would do it if you were not yakking! LOL

Papa EGTH and I played this cartridge before heading further into the hills for a CITO. We did save the game after each zone, but we never had a problem with the cartridge on our Oregons. The toughest one was finding the arboretum answer, but he finally found it. We walked 1.36 miles and it took 49 minutes, including leaving the fairgrounds to get a cache behind a diner but not including going after the final. Thanks for the grand tour of the fairgrounds! I loved the jade boulder!
