About This Cartridge

Anthony Yant first settled in what is now Altoona in 1854, the same year that Gilbert T. Taylor settled there. The land was originally surveyed in 1847 and put up for sale by the US government in 1848, but it took six years to sell. After many different sales between different families the Davis family ended up with the land on February 1, 1868

This tour is a tour around several blocks of this area.

This WhereIGo cartridge worked perfectly on my iPhone and was lots of fun. Great locations that were used. This Saturday morning no one was around to even notice what I was doing. Thanks bucknuts for creating this whereIGo.

As we were approaching GZ, we spotted what looked like a group of cachers wandering around. As we were at one of the stages, they came up on us and they happened to be the group of louinliberty, hockabee, baad daata, debrajean. They also helped me learn something new about the WherIGo program on my iPhone I didn't know before. I thought I was techie enough, just goes to show I can still learn something new.

Nice little tour of town. TFTW
