About a month ago we got a Oregon 450 GPS and were excited that now we could have a go at the wherigos' that were so close to home, but EVERY WEEKEND we have had either something else on or it has been raining! So last week on friday nigh we saw an opportunity where we could give it a go, and it wasn't raining (yet). So we rode our bikes down to the start of the cache and tryed to start the cartridge, and it started! We rode and pedalled but we found it near impossible to average a high enough speed to finish in time, so we called it quits for the day.

Yesterday we saw another opportunity, and it wasn't raining, and we had a tailwind! So we rode to the start and we averaged about 30ish Kph. When we finished we saw we had done within the time limit for the first cache but sadly not the bonus. Sow we rode to where the GPS told us the cache was and we got to the zone and it told us we were 13 metres away. So we walked 13 meters in the direction we thought it was in. and we search and search, we came back about 3 times with no luck. It wasn't until the 4th visit that we discovered we had been looking in the wrong spot the whole time. After we worked out the real GZ it took us less than a minute to find.

What a fun cache to 'FIND'. The adventure is definitely in the chase for a good 'time'.
As this was my first 'Wherigo' cache, I have learnt from my errors in following through the game on the GPS.
Maybe a FTF on the next 'Wherigo' game
Thanks for this great adventure.

After completing part of this cartridge yesterday and due to to many muggles about not being able to complete, I came back today to complete but still had a muggle problem, then after completing a nearby cache while waiting for them to clear off, I came back to a muggle free area, a quick search of the area soon located the cache container.
This wherigo was a lot of fun and exercise,
thanks for this cache.

My first attempt at a Wherigo cache, and I like it!
Wasn't sure what I needed to do at the gates, or when I arrived at the end, but we worked it out, so I took a second run at the course and I think it was 54 seconds left, so I was rewarded with the cache co-ords. Not a bad time on a MTB with a light southwesterly and no warm-up.
Unfortunately I spent about 45mins looking for the cache and found nothing. I will return another day to hopefully get a 'FIND'.
I uploaded the so far completed cartridge, hopefully this proves my activity.
