With a few hours to kill, I decided to try my first wherigo, especially as it's quite close to home. No problems completing the lovely little series, even in the dark and rain. I thoroughly enjoyed this, well thought out and out together.

Our 3rd Whereto and today we have just discovered that you can write logs for them!!! Another very enjoyable walk around unfamiliar ground. Felt sorry for those silly caches that we met on our way around! Thanks to the CO for the time and effort in creating this type of cache.

Was struggling here to get anywhere with the cartridge, found the first lost cacher, but nothing seemed to be happening, phoned the c/o to be told "it doesnt seem to work on the gps, try a phone" Hmmm! downloaded the whereyougo app and then the cartridge to the phone, once loaded everything worked fine on the phone, and with all the co-ords collected they were inputed into the gps and a quick find was had at gz

Enjoyable walk around the hill 'meeting' other cachers on a chilly but sunny morning. All stages worked perfectly on iPhone and Samsung Galaxy S4 but both Oregons failed at stage 1. The paths were quite muddy and slippery in places after all the recent rain.

We were enjoying a lovely week off work and heading up North for a few days. As I really enjoy wherigo caches we decided to make our route by pass a few as we travelled up.

This was a fun wherigo cache, it was a nice walk and good to help so many other cachers out today. Great views from the top and a lovely big cache we found too.

Many thanks for all your hard work setting up this wherigo for us to enjoy today

[Copied from Geocaching.com] The second cache of today as we try to complete The Magnificent Seven Challenge Cache (GC4ABK5) - this is our Large cache container.

Where shall I start?! Well, despite Wherigo apparently not having an iPhone app there is one and it's on my phone. Having downloaded both the app and cartridge yesterday, and being at a loose end cache wise with unpredictable weather ruining our initial plans, we decided to attempt The Magnificent Seven Challenge. This would tick the large container box and be our first Wherigo cache.

We didn't really know what to expect. We'd had a brief look at home at the first stage so we knew that it would at least load, but after that was a mystery. Grubbly has a good friend who lives nearby so knew the area a little, not that it helped. The stages were entertaining and well thought out. We encountered no issues whatsoever, although we found the cache before completing the final stage having realised we had all the coordinate information to hand. However, for completeness, we did then make that journey to the last point just to see what it said! The iPhone isn't the most accurate of devices for caching with generally, but it did the job well today!

Thanks for a few things; a lovely walk, a new experience and a large cache container for the challenge. We also picked up a fresh TB and dropped a couple off that we've had far too long. TFTC SL

My first Wherigo and once I'd twigged what I was supposed to be doing, it was very enjoyable. I had a few problems with my android software wanting to navigate away from the intermediate points but that was soon overcome and eventually the log signed. Thanks for creating this wherigo.
