About This Cartridge
This geocaching trail will take you along The Tourist Road. The Tourist Road marks the southern boundary of the Upper Napean Special Catchment Area for Dam Resources on the Illawarra Plateau; it also marks the northern boundary for the Shoalhaven Catchment Scheme. Entry into these areas is prohibited and subject to heavy fines. So, do not go in there. Equally important is that The Tourist Road is a high speed thoroughfare that is very narrow. For your own safety and for the safety of others please do not park on the bitumen or walk along the roadway. There is no need; there is plenty of room off the road. Caches were placed using a suburban SUV and the trail can be completed easily in any standard 4WD. For those restricted to 2WD I have indicated safe parking access points on each cache page. Each cache is within leisurely walking distance from the designated parking areas. For all cachers, remember your safety and finances are your own responsibility. Please stay sharp.
