This wherigo is part of the Lehigh Valley GeoCachers Geo Park. What is a GeoPark? Several members of Lehigh Valley Geocachers volunteered to hide interesting and unusual caches in a small, concentrated area. We call this zone a “GeoPark.” If you plan your caching just right, you may qualify for a “One Busy Day” cache. Enjoy!

About This Cartridge

This simple but long Wherigo is a tour of our Lehigh Valley Geocachers Geo Park. It can be used to help you plan your caching day here. It is also designed to give those that were not able to be here for our opening event to get to know each of the cache owners from the park a little better. It will serve as our own virtual event to give you the feel of being here on the opening day. This is the easiest wherigo I have created so far as there are no challenges, questions or penalties to pay on this one. It will simple accompany you from cache to cache across our park sharing little tidbits of information about the cache owners and our geo park. This Wherigo is associated with cache GC3BTRD which you will find and log in the end.  If you can I would suggest using a smart phone for the cartridge while continuing to hunt for each cache on a separate phone or GPS, it should be safe to leave the game to do the caches and resume the game from where you left off but I would really hate fo

Starting Location

This cartridge will begin in the west side parking area in Hugh Moore Park where we are holding our caching event. The event is GC3B3N0 there are driving directions to the GZ on that cache page.

We had a couple minor issues with the cartridge on our Android devices, but for the most part we were able to save after each zone before getting the "cannot play in simulation mode" error. This wherigo took about 2 hours for us today (without finding the caches in between) and was pretty easy. We enjoyed the long walk, but the cartridge itself is not very fun if you've found all of the caches it takes you to, or don't care to find them. Either way, thanks for another cartridge.

We enjoyed this WhereIgo with our daughter and her boyfriend who are new to geocaching (zwcs). This was their first WhereIgo and first time to this park. We were here just last weekend to do the other WhereIgo and complete the One Busy Day. We were anxious to show this park to zwcs and watch them earn the One Busy Day as well. We enjoy WhereIgoes and wish there were more of them. We sure got some exercise today. Thanks for setting up this WhereIgo.

I started this Wherigo with Team Firenze and Geo-Ben last Father's day, but just I was back today for the Lehigh Valley cachers picnic. It was really neat to learn more about the names and faces I've met over the last year (I was not aware of the ArubaXpress dynasty! .) I wrapped up this Wherigo and headed over to the final coordinates. I was pretty sure I saw the likely hiding spot, but had to err...adjust for terrain. I did so and made the find. The outside of the cache was pretty dirty, but it was nice and dry on the inside. I signed in while my microcachers played in mud or something then...adjusted again to replace the cache. Thanks for another Wherigo!

Thanks for our first wherigo experience. Finished it in two trips so we could bring the pups out to the dog friendly side of the park. They enjoyed the unusually long walk for mid-winter!

The cartridge worked perfectly and it was a great way to experience the creative variety of geocaches and their COs in this new GeoPark. It helped to see the CO every once in a while at this event today to ask a functioning question, but strictly to learn more about the Wherigo functions in general. Great experience and this cartridge will hold your hand and lead you to a 'Busy Day', :)
