A beginner level Wherigo cache that takes the player on a tour of the Old Zoo area at Allegany State Park.
A tour of the area around the old zoo at Allegany State Park. This cartridge should take less than 1 hour to play and was designed with kids in mind. You will visit three informational signs and two other sites before being lead to the cache. All points are within easy walking distance. Cartridge is NOT handicapped accessible.
Near the parking area for the administration building. The starting point is near the base of the stone steps

Since you re-did the cache, we decided to replay the wherigo! Had a great time and the cartridge worked very well on the Oregon 450t. The key is to have fresh batteries.

B-f361 and I had a great time doing our first Whereigo cache during ASPGB IX. I really enjoyed exploring the old zoo and learning about some of the history of ASP. Thanks for the Whereigo!

This was our first Wherigo, and last geocache at ASP GeoBash VIII prior to heading home. These are actually a lot of fun! Used on iPhone 5 with no problems using the Wherigo app. Had some trouble figuring out how to have it show up as completed, but finally got it to work. Can't wait to do more of these in the future.

Played through this cache with the Whereyougo app on my Droid without a hitch. But the stages blip in and out with the slightest movement. Several times at the final, it kept taking me back one step. Unfortunately, the cartridge did not save to my phone. I've got an .ows file, a .gwl file, and a .gwc file, but no .gws file to speak of, despite the cartridge saying that it was saved when I got to the final.
