About This Cartridge
On September 5th, Lee marched his ragged Army of Northern Virginia of 55,000 men across the Potomac River at White's Ford near Leesburg, VA. He had hopes of relieving the pressure on Richmond by invading the rich and fertile Pennsylvania farmland in order to refit and resupply his troops. But in order to maintain a supply route to Winchester he had to capture Harpers Ferry and Martinsburg. Therefore Lee divided his army into four parts hoping to capture both union held positions and occupy Hagerstown.
However, General McClellan and his 90,000 strong Army of the Potomac discovered Lee's Order #191. He quickly moved his men into the gaps along South Mountain hoping to catch Lee's divided army and destroy them.

I have been wanting to do this wherigo for years! Today was finally the day as we tied it in with the lab caches here. I played the cartridge on my android with the whereyougo app and everything was fine until on our way to the final my phone lost the location of the final. So we quickly drove the whole loop again, which actually didn't take long because we knew right where to stop. Construction is going on at GZ of the final and the container is in the window. I am still giving it 5 stars!!

Chose a beautiful fall day to enjoy this Whereigo experience with OldJinx. As has been mentioned a number of times, there are at least 2 spots where Google is your method of answering the question in order to advance, due to changes in signage since the cartridge was originally designed. All in all, it was a fantastic 2-hour journey into the past. Thanks for all the work required to put together such a comprehensive experience.
