This Wherigo will guide you around parts of the Lakeland Highland Scrub where caches aren't allowed so many cachers don't visit.
One of the last remaining remnants of the Lakeland Ridge where one can view dwarf scrub oaks, adapted to the sandy soils. The site is home to rare plant species and widllife such as: gopher tortoises, Florida scrub-jay and indigo snakes.
Your starting location is the Lakeland Highlands Scrub parking lot.

Used my LG6 and Whereyougo app to do this one. We enjoyed our hike as we completed the stages and made our way to the final. Thanks for the cartridge and the cache!

this was the best trail in the park... well maintained and very nice shady oaks until the last tenth of a mile. we saw several gopher tortoises. stages worked perfectly, but the unlock code only works if you enter the first 15 digits. we recommend starting the day with this one and the multi at the parking lot so you don't have to backtrack. thanks for the fun!! :)

Completed using the WhereYouGo app on my Motorola Droid 4. Played smoothly with no problems. Good tour of a trail that can't have any caches.

Thanks for the nice hike thru the shady oaks trail. Have treked thru some of it before but not all of it. Played the cartridge with Team COST. The code worked perfectly and the cartridge shows completed.

Once again...I saved the cartridge after completion and wrote down the unlock code and neither of them will unlock this cartridge.
Also, once again, I enjoyed playing the cartridge and the stroll through the oaks. Wish I had time to do ALL the caches in this park, but I'll have to save them for another day as I have plans to play 5 Wherigo cartridges today.
