Bottom line: This was my 7th Wherigo and even though the others were excellent, they didn't come near to this one. If you are visiting the Austin/San Antonio area and you like Wherigos, then this is a must do.
This cache is like the adventure novels I loved so much when I was a boy (and still do). The CO has spun a story that is perfectly tied into the surrounding area. It couldn't be better. This is what every Wherigo should be like but seldom are.
I don't want to give away any details of the story but expect to spend several hours doing this one and be prepared to do some hiking. Bring water, bugspray and sunblock. Bring extra batteries for your GPS and if you have it, a 2nd GPS or phone app (my Oregon 550t, locked up and wouldn't do this one). And don't forget your boot.
This is the most fun I have had doing a geocache in a long long time.
