NATR Natchez Trace Wherigo

I had been needing to upgrade my iPhone to the latest iOS for quite a while. I upgraded it today for the express purpose of downloading the new iPhone Wherigo Ap and going hunting for this specific Wherigo cache.
This was our very first Wherigo and we didn't quite know what to expect.
Now that we have successfully completed all of the tasks and signed the log at the end, all I can say is "WOW!"
This takes geocaching to a whole new level and my mind is reeling with ideas for new hides which this technology this makes possible.
Our family had a lot of fun going on this augmented hike along the Natchez Trace today. The Trace and its fascinating history have been one of my favorite places and topics of study for almost 50 years.
The CO did a great job of reducing some of the highlights of the Trace into a short, pleasant and informative hike. Makes me want to drive the whole thing again.
Nice swag in the container. Glad to see The Good Book in there. We took nothing but photos and left nothing but foot prints.
We are hoping to see a lot more of these in Mississippi. Our family is going to look into creating some too.
