Another fun Wherigo! This is our third one and I've been very pleased with each one. The first was meant as a tour, the second as a mix of tour and role playing. This one was pure role playing through and through. The quest was long but worth it. The surroundings helped with keeping the mood constant. At times it even felt like the game and real life were intertwining. For example, a character from the Wherigo offered me water which so happened to be the exact same time Mom handed me water unaware. Another was when I was talking out loud about a creature appearing at a certain location and sure enough it did. The day was a scorcher which was fitting since it made me feel like the dragon was engulfing us in flames. I had my Mom stay behind in the shade and by the truck due to the hot temperature and long hike to come. Xavier and I forged ahead determined to save the princess. One of the destinations had us doubling back, but I chose to keep heading forward which resulted in us being devoured by the dragon. After a second chance, we finished off that foul beast and saved the princess. The cache needs more medals though, which I thought was cool to find. Thanks for the experience and a chance to escape into a new world.
