Arkansas Ordnance Plant

Well, I guess everyone in central Arkansas is saving this one for August, to pick up a souvenir. So if someone has to be first, it might as well be me! I will get my August souvenir cache elsewhere! I am beginning to really enjoy Wherigos, and I am glad to see them pop up in more and more places in Arkansas. This Wherigo provided a great historical tour of a part of Jacksonville's past that I was unfamiliar with before today. I was able to do the first 3 stages on foot, but then I had to use my car to pick up the rest. In the process, I was amazed at how spread out the old ordnance plant was! I guess it needed to be to prevent a chain reaction of explosions if one of the production facilities in the plant had an accident. The cartridge worked great with each page opening up smoothly once I got into the "zone", and I didn't have it freeze up on me at all. The only problem I had was that it did not provide me with an unlock code once I got to the physical cache location (the cartridge said I was within 6 feet, but nothing happened at that point). I have not run into this problem before with other cartridges, so I cannot ventute a guess as to what went wrong. Regardless, a nice history lesson and tour, and it did take less than an hour. For someone more familiar with Jacksonville, it will probably be doable in less than 30 minutes! This one gets a favorite point for me, because I know from experience that it took a lot of work.
