Another incredible adventure. I had never done a Wherigo cache before, but I imagine that this one would be hard to equal in frustration and excitement. This took my son and I 3 trips... The first got cut short due to dinner plans.
The second trip was intended to be a quick wrap up, however, it was anything but. We were going back and forth for hours. I don't suggest this for most 5 year olds, but my son is a real trooper. I was stuck at one point and just couldn't seem to go any further. I revisited all the previous locations looking for anything I may have missed. At dusk we called it a night, also being half-dead (virtually and otherwise).
I had emailed a group that had done this over a year ago, and they gave it some thought, but really no clues surfaced. But in the process of discussing it and tossing it around while I should have been sleeping, I thought of something I wasn't sure i had tried.
So, we returned this evening. Turned out that my inkling was incorrect, but for some reason unbeknownst to me, the thing that got me stuck resolved itself on its own. Not sure if it was a cartridge error or operator error, but whatever happened, it was fine with me.
And that led us to the end. It could have been smoother, but that's ok. It's completely memorable this way! Fave point and continued kudos for the incredible caches!
