Trying to figure out this Wherigo stuff. This is a fun little starter game, but apparently doesn't like Garmin Oregon's. Worked good the first time, but when my girls tried to play it, the Garmin locked up both times.

This took me 18 tries to play it on my Oregon 300 that somehow kept switching off and driving me crazy. Every attempt to save the game in between also caused my GPS to go black.
I tried 14 times in the early evening and went to the park again with no other caches or wherigos on the Oregon and fresh batteries. I managed to save two stages of the game and finally finished the egg hunt.
Funny idea but all in all it took me about 90 minutes instead of 5.

Oh excellent! I ran this with the Wherigo iPhone app, but worried when there was no completion code for finding the eggs w/in 5 minutes. On top of that, the app doesn't allow you to transfer save games anywhere. So I opted for the manual approach - I used DiskAid to retrieve the app-specific GWS file from the iPhone file system, and the upload worked, wheeee! :)

I managed to get 85 points w/o hitting a rotten egg. Success! (and I did a track log of the hunt for fun:)
