It wasn't easy to play the WIG and to find this cache, but we had succeeded :-)
Thanks for this cache !

During our short-holidays in Versailles&Paris, Marienkaeferl and me played this Wherigo. It is a nice idea and a good way to see almost every fountain in the park! At the second stage of the game(where a lot of new wayoints were added to the task list) our Oregon 450 was struggeling a little bit,...after a while we could at least pick one of the next stages,...from this point it was again no probelm!
The final Cache itself is a little bit humid inside,...maybe because the box is not bulid to resist for a long time outside

Overall it was a nice game,

thank you!

We picked a great weekend to be in Paris, superb weather and some really nice caches to do too.
We really enjoyed our walk around these beautiful gardens. We went to all the zones collecting the keys along our way. the cartridge played really well on the Oregon 450 and the i phone. playing the game was much easier than finding the cache.
many thanks to the Cache owner for setting up this great wherigo for us to enjoy.

Nice cartridge and nice WIG-Gameplay in Versailles. :)

But the final is to far away from the end of the WIG. Because all portals are closed, we walked about 3 km just to sign the log after completing the WIG :(

Très belle balade dans le parc avec la découverte de lieux que je ne connaissais pas.

Merci pour cette très belle Wherigo.

Nice little Cartridge we played at the beautiful gardens of versailles. Fortunately (after trying couple of months ago) we had the help for stage 1 with us - so - after trying to play with Garmin - I decided to change device and to start again with Android. On a Garmin it is difficult to maintain the number of zones - easiest way to improve on Garmin would be to enable only half of the zones and after disabling some visited zones the rest of the zones...

Exactly three years ago we started our geocaching adventure and so we decided that this Wherigo must be our anniversary cache. Accidentally this is also our #5000 :o)

The garden of Versailles is really fantastic… if you think the monuments in paris are monumental… you have to visit Versailles… this kicks everything.

So we walked on this sunny sunday morning through this garden…. surrounded by classical music… and of course some tourists :o) We collected all keys and opened the door for #5000 and (hopefully) the next years of geocaching!

Today we did an attempt to find all of the caches in the gardens of Versailles castle, and this was one of them.
We've got two Garmin Oregon GPS-es, a 300 and a 450, and both of them had a hard time at the Orangerie. They frooze a couple of times, but somehow, after several attempts things went well. Until at the end. On the 450 we didn't manage to get the locks unlocked and we ended in a state where we could only look at our inventory, but couldn't do anything usefull with it. On the 300 we had succes, so we could head for the cache.
Since we had walked all afternoon, from the back-entrance of the parc to the front (and not in a very straight line) we were not very happy to end up at the wrong side of the wall, but we found the cache anyway and made it back to the gate, just before closing time.

Thanks for our first French Wherigo.
