Played this with Hammerclub today. Almost made it in one try. Just couldn't find that last creature. Second time went pretty smooth with a game plan in place. Used an iPhone and Oregon GPS.

My son and I completed this Wherigo and had a blast with it! This was our first experience with a Wherigo and it went smooth using the Wherigo app on an iPhone. We were able to complete it on the first try although we started to get a little nervous as we got low on ammo and other tools - but we got it done! Thanks to ZenGuru for the great experience!

I enjoyed this game quite a bit, although it was frustrating when things didn't work quite right. I loaded the game both on an Android phone, using Whereyougo software, and on the Garmin Oregon 450t. It froze at the start on the Garmin and I had to reboot, but eventually it started working and I was able to complete the game on the Garmin. My android, loaded, but the whereyougo thought I was 2 kilometers away when I was standing at the gz. But once I got going and figured out how the game played, it was a lot of fun.

Took me 2 tries because I got excited and backed out too far.
Refined my tracking technique, so I believe half of the largest dragon was outside the 135' limit when I destroyed it.
2 Garmin GPS's is the way to go.

Really enjoyed this one--it's a fun, creative adaptation of the Battleship game. The cache is also a great well-placed hide in a beautiful wilderness area. You don't have to climb on the nearby rocks, but why not? Great views and fun scrambling!

We used some math (and benefited from some luck) and managed to win in just one game with 3 grenades and all but one of our AR-15s left.

Technical notes:
We played it using an iPhone 4 and had pretty good cell service and accuracy. We used a Garmin GPS to log waypoints of hits and misses before discovering you could do it on the game map itself.

We also accidentally blew up 2 dynamite in a row at the start--turns out, there's a bit of a lag on the iPhone 4, and you have to wait a few seconds for it to process after you hit "Fire!"

Having played a few Whereigos before, I'd rank this as #1 in terms of ease of use, responsiveness to zones, and fun. Well done!!!
