Came back a year later equipped with a smart phone and Whereyougo and everything worked great! A few things have changed, so we had to guess at an answer or 2, but that was okay. Did not finish because time ran out and the rest of the party was doing other things. Got up to the hunt for Stage 5, though. Probably it would have worked to finish, but not sure. Getting into the target area for a few of the stages, especially #4, was a bit tricky, maybe because of the vagaries of phone gps reception. At stage 4 the target area kept sending me way down into the brush and the gully. I had to walk a ways away (to "reset" the gps) and then walk back about 4 times before the target area was in a place I could actually get to. So widening the target areas would be much appreciated if possible. I'm betting that Wherigos will be played more as it becomes possible to actually play them. Thanks for setting this up! It is saved and we hope to come back soon to finish it!

Tried to play this one yesterday on my Garmin Oregon, figuring wandering around strangely would go under the radar with all the crowds. Sadly, I had the same problem as the other Garmin users: I couldn't find a way to input the answer to the question in the first zone. There's one thing to see -- the tree. And one task - answer the question. But there doesn't seem to be any way to answer. Darn Garmns! Someday we'll get a smart phone, probably, then maybe we'll see. Thanks for doing this, though.

What a great area! I never knew about the ranch before, and we have vowed to bring our bicycles next time we are in the area and continue into the Wilder Ranch back country.

I've uploaded an update, but I'm guessing on why its not giving the question when you arrive at the zone. My theory is, arrive at a zone, and the question task becomes active, click on the task, answer the question.
Works on my PDA and the emulator. Don't have a Colorado or Oregon yet so you are a tester when you go out there! I moved the code that activates the task to the top of the queue in case the task is not being executed. I also turned logging on. I'm also marking the cartridge as complete as soon as you arrive at the 6th zone.

Great Cartridge. As mentioned on the Cache Listing, there were some technical issues in playing this Cartridge on the Colorado with the 2.6 Firmware revision.
Luckily, I had my iQue with me and was able to proceed beyond the First Zone.
A very nice walk around the old Ranch, although as mentioned earlier, there doesn't appear to be a "Cartridge Complete" command at the end of the Cartridge play, so am unable to mark this one as complete.
Thanks for the Cartridge and the tour :)

Check for me (using a Colorado 300) same case. There was no way I could put in my answer . . . Maybe the Garmin software is not fully mature. Will try when there is a new player. Please also let me know when the cartridge will be updated . . .
Thanks for all your efforts so far.

We tried to play this one on our Colorado, but could not find any way to enter an answer for the first question. The question came up, but no answer field or response options. We were disappointed, but made the best of it and wandered the ranch a bit on our own.

This was my first Wherigo in the real world and it was a blast. Tried to upload my saved game file but the site claims it wasn't marked as complete. Bummer... but I did find the cache.
Thanks for a fun one.
