This is my first wherigo so I did it on the emulator in the wherigo builder. Cool nostalga to go through on of my favorite episodes of star trek. I'm from Victoria, BC so it is unlikely I would be able to go on scene, but that would be very cool. The only frustrating part is even though I know what to do next (basically), I didn't know how to go about doing it.

I was disappointed to see this was not on the geocaching.com page as well. This looks like a fun one that many more people would enjoy.

TickBait1961 and I ran out of time the first time we did this - I didn't follow the Oracle's wisdom. So we came back this evening and completed the adventure. What a blast!

However, after retrieveing the unlock code, we still seem to be unable to close the loop. Will email the builder for help. In any event we had a great time.

I played this one in the emulator as part of learning process to start creating my own Wherigo caches. Wow, it's clear that this cartridge took some time to design. Nice job!

An excellent cartridge.
I live in Northern Ontario and (unfortunely) had to play it in the emulator.

Wow! What a nice and complete cartridge.
I played it in the emulator because I live in The Netherlands.
I think this is the meaning of Wherigo.

Very nicely done...and to think, with a less stable version of the builder. Nicely filled with media too. Thanks for putting it together. And yeah, I remember that episode quite well...it helped know what to do for this puzzle.

Great game! I made it on second trial.
Thanks for making it an open source.
I'm sure I'll learn a lot from it

Wow! What an amazing Cartridge. It's people like you that make me realize how little I've accomplished :D

Played it on the Emulator, and realized there are a few disadvantages to this that my not be a problem on the ground at the Park. We had some difficulty getting the items together in the right sequence, and ended up backtracking some in order to replenish items that were necessary to complete the task. Not knowing the trails at Vasquez, this may be irrelevant if the trail takes you in the correct sequence of events.

With that in mind, from personal experience, I would suggest leaving the Zones fairly large. Having been a bit frustrated with "getting in the Zones" with the Cartridges built by Groundspeak for the Bay Area, I'd say it's better to go too big than too small. Vasquez Rocks Park certainly appears a large enough area to accomodate large Zones, and I'd take advantage of that.

I sure hope to play this one in real life in April when we go down to Joshua Tree for the CITO Event. My son loved doing the armchair version of this Cartridge, and I think you've turned him into a Trekkie in the process ;)

Thanks for all the hard work you put into this.
