This is the first I've done solo with my new(ish) android phone, I tried it on an el cheapo tablet a few months back, but the (in) accuracy of the GPS in that was such that I never managed to get in the first zone ! Until now I've relied on better equipped friends to let me follow them around.

It took me a minute or two to become familiar with the app and discover that the arrow on my navigate screen was less than helpful, so I resorted to watching the metres count down while bumping into things.

Soon got the hang of it and whizzed through the screens and was heading for the final - ideally I think I'd like to see the final co-ords and input them in the GPS rather than continue the hotter/colder circling behaviour with the 'phone , but I got to the (smaller than the wherigo cartridge says) container in the end .

Came to fineshade for a walk today in the sun with Mr TeamFizz on the mobility scooter and decided to attempt the wherigo while here. No problem with any of the points and this time we remembered to save our game as we went along! We were soon at GZ where the well concealed cache was soon retrieved. TFTC

We really like wherigo caches and we ran out of time last week to do this one, so we came back today. We enjoyed a lovely sunny walk around the area and through the cafe a few times. Once a GZ all of our oregon screens went black, but we began our search as we knew we were close. Luckily Monki was able to restart his game and we then had the hint. After a short search the cache was found.

many thanks for your hard work setting up this wherigo for us to enjoy today

A nice straightforward wherigo with a grim but humorous theme. What a great looking visitor centre, we will definitely come back to explore the area on our bikes as it looks great.

All worked perfectly.
