We really like wherigo caches so we planned to do these the weekend of the Mega event. The car park was free on a Sunday which was a bonus. A fabulous walk with stunning views and a great story.

I played as Ed Malone Unfortunately I made a bad choice and didn't have the required piece of equipment to do the necessary , so a long walk back to base camp for me and Mr unowho while Monki and Blue Nora were able to carry on with their adventure. It was worth while though as I was able to bring back proof that dinosaurs exist

We soon had the final co-ords and once at GZ I located the cache quickly, now on for the bonus .

Many thanks for setting up this wherigo cache for us to enjoy today

This was one of the wherigos we played on our road trip around Scotland. After talking to another cacher about this wherigo at an event earlier in the year we realised this wasn't going to be a 'walk in the park' so we made sure we were very well prepared, one of our concerns was battery life on the smartphones so we made sure we had our portable battery charger with us as it looked like it might take some time to complete, especially if we made some poor decisions early on in the game. Luckily we made all the right choices during the game apart from the bit where Mrs D was killed by falling into a chasm(careless) but luckily was able to regenerate and rectify the mistake she'd made (very handy). It really was a thoroughly enjoyable wherigo and we particularly liked how the story fitted in with the surroundings. A lovely area to explore.

Having created many of our own wherigos we fully appreciate the time and effort that has gone into setting this one up for us to enjoy.

We really enjoyed this Cardridge at our holidays in Scotland. This adventure is not an easy one and at some places you have make the right decision - or you need to go back and forth, up and down several times. We had to do so, but nevertheless it was much fun. :-)

Unfortunately, our Oregon 300 did strike right at the beginning and so we had to do the adventure on Android using the WhereYouGo Player. This worked surprisingly well, until the battery of my phone was nearly empty (just before we reached the final). After that experience I bought a separate charging device for AA batteries. ;-)

Finally, there are two question open: Does the story chance for different characters and are there several endings? Unfortunately, Berlin is quite far away from Edinburgh what makes it difficult to give it a simple try out. ;-)

Had a blast playing this with a group of us. 4 units to play the game, only mine made it, due to one member leaving a vital piece of equipment behind, One's unit wouldn't work properly and the other the battery ran out quite quickly.
The pocket PC saved the day and we finally made it, if only the diamonds were real.

It is the 1st one I have done so can't compare against others, but would certainly do one again

Only problem I encountered with the game was it crashed right at the end after the clapping, and the final co-ords, so I only had a few seconds to jot them down before the crash report screen came up

Set out to do our second ever WherIgo cache, and it's a big one.

We were both running the game on our phones, just as well as Mr RR forgot a vital piece of equipment and fell to his death. Mrs RR continued on alone and after many adventures and some hints from the ghost of Mr RR who was tagging along, managed to complete her exploration and escape from the lost world.

A walk in the greener parts of Edinburgh, and a nice sunny day all added up to make this a fun experience.

What an intriguing experience! I tackled this Wherigo together with phlpp, a friend of mine, while visiting Edinburgh for one day. We played it on a HTC Desire Z using WhereYouGo 0.5.0, facing only minor problems (one crash at the very beginning and a light issue with the inventory). The story nearly perfectly fits the terrain! We enjoyed the walk and the plot, died once but could reload. The final hiding-place is a tough one!
Thank you very much for making this cardridge!

Sometimes it is not so obvious what to do next; maybe the "tasks" list could explain better how to go on. Proceeding to the next step requires very different actions from the user - sometimes you have to go to "locations", sometimes the new part of the story starts automatically... Nevertheless the coolest cardridge I've played so far!
