I found a free Android application for my phone (WhereYouGo) so I thought I would finally try these out. I've played one previously but that was only with a PC emulator so this was my first time "in the field".

I have to say that it was extremely frustrating but I'm sure that was due to the application, not the cartridge itself. I'd get within 15 feet of the coords and I'd expect to see a pop-up or something else, but nothing. I had to play around with the app to find the zone and I expected to have to take some action or answer a question but I didn't (I assume that's the way this way I assume this was built). After going back and forth with the app multiple times, opening and closing it, re-navigating to the zone, etc. I'd finally get it to "see" the next zone. After about an hour I was at Zone 9 and I couldn't get it to go any further so I had to give up to be somewhere at 6:45.
I also started and closed the cartridge so many times that in error the last time I did I didn't save it so if I try again I'll have to start over.

I write this not as a complaint against the owner, but to document my issues that I had.
Maybe I'll try to download the emulator to see what the experience should have been like and try again at a different time. Or maybe I'll try a different cartridge and see if I get different results....fortunately there's one nearby :-)
