Getting Started
Wherigo experiences can be played at a specific location, like a tour guide, or
designed to "Play Anywhere." It only takes a few steps to get started.
Step 1: Download a Cartridge
Search for a cartridge or self-contained Wherigo file for your area. If no cartridges are found in your area you can try out a "Play Anywhere" cartridge, or if you are feeling adventurous you
can build your own.
Step 2: Go Out and Play
Playing a cartridge is an interactive experience that requires you to move among zones. As you walk inside, outside or even close to a zone, you can complete
tasks by interacting with
items and
characters,
both real and virtual.
Step 3: Log It Online
Share your playing experience with the cartridge author and other Wherigo users. By communicating improvements and suggested changes at www.wherigo.com, you can help enhance the overall experience for everyone.
