I was at the event when this cache was first published but I knew I wouldn't be able to find it on that day - it was way too busy. Getting around the track was going to be a serious challenge. But there were plenty of other caches around so I didn't worry about it. But then I realised that this cache was now my nearest unfound cache, a little blue blight on my map of lovely smilies The time had come to tackle it. It would take some planning though. For starters, it needed to be a quiet day on the track so that we wouldn't get mown day by fitter cyclists, so we chose a week day. Then Mr. Maths managed to get a day off work and so the date was set. Mathsnut Junior cunningly got out of it by going to the cinema with friends. After a fortifying lunch, the rest of us were ready. As we live so close, we walked from home, with Mr. Maths busily installing WhereYouGo and downloading the cartridge as we walked. We soon reached the start and then our adventures began. We have walked around various paths of the park before but I had not appreciated just how many valleys there are folded into the area. Well we know the place a lot better now We were especially impressed with how many footpaths there actually are that we had never seen before, crossing and following the track. We didn't encounter many other cyclists, and only one group were actually cycling on the track. Others were pushing their bikes the wrong way up it, or on the alternative paths. So that made things a lot easier. We also found it a lot easier when we explored and compared the various settings on the app as mine kept showing my arrow inside the zone but failing to trigger it as the location had been turned off We were relieved to finally see the fabulous word "Finish" appear As I had been carrying my caching bag round for the whole trip, I insisted that we find the cache straight away. At first therr seemed to be too many possiblr hiding places with nothing in them. Then I noted a previous finder's comment about the cache coordinates, and checked a couple of photos. As soon as I realised what we were looking for, I spotted something promising looking. Then we just had to wait for a muggle and her dog to stop admiring the bluebells so that we could extract it. For future reference, we found the cache about 10m SW of the given coordinates, although tree cover is a problem anyway. Thank you for a great afternoon's exercise, and all the effort that went into setting this. TFTC

Started ok but had to scramble some bits and cycle others. Time was against me but I got the cache in the end.
