A Wherigo on the island of Gozo, you will need a car and walking shoes. There is a physical geocache at the conclusion of the quest for you to find. PLEASE NOTE there is a new version of the cartridge for download, make sure you download the latest one

About This Cartridge

A simple wherigo for the beautiful island of Gozo. This will involve a degree of driving and walking around some of the interesting sites on the island. Make sure you have some stout walking shoes or boots. You will need the OSM map provided to navigate around unless you know the island. You should plan for at least a whole half day to complete the quest and it can be completed at night if need be.

There are other caches to collect as you follow the quest.

Starting Location

This Citadel is the centre of the island and is a vital historic site.

In my opinion, this is the best geocache in Malta (and Gozo, of course ) tx for the guide! FP is a must. left GC.
tx for this WIG!

Yes, I did.
That was very dissolute at the end. But the places were beautiful. The cache at the end I have found good.

The two TBs I have not seen in the cache. For that I have left there a different, but unfortunately forgot the tracking number. The next can log him then yes.

This was an intense and exhausting Wherigo experience, as I only had my feet and a bus ticket, so it took me several days to complete it. But it was also interesting and rewarding, as it lead me to places I would have never thought of visiting. I agree with previous loggers, the locations should be available from the getgo, as I too had to visit places I had been to before. And as my predecessors, I only found the virtual cache along with the virtual Geocoin - at GZ, there was no cache box to be found, only an empty pizza box and some other trash.

As I wrote in the log book: "Who needs a tour guide if they have a Wherigo?" A very worthwhile tour of the island that brings you to all of the interesting sites, but note the "more than 4hours" is no understatement. At the end I was nearly despairing as I couldn't find the actual cache - the small picture on the PDA was not much help but luckily I got there in the end.
