Prove that you can tell real art from fakes. Play in San Antonio, or Play Anywhere! For local play, don't forget to claim cache GC1B5VM.

About This Cartridge

A short test of your knowledge of some famous works of art, and a cache to find in San Antonio, Texas. You'll search for famous works of art in Mahnke Park, and if you find them all, you'll be given the directions to a cache. Of course, if you aren't in San Antonio, you can still play! Just start it and select Play Anywhere mode! No cache for you, unfortunately, but you're more than welcome to have the virtual experience!

We've tested this as much as possible on both the PPC and Colorado platforms, and the initial bugs are worked out. If you run into trouble, please let us know so we can try to iron out any remaining issues!

Starting Location

For San Antonio play, park along the road next to the park (but not on New Braunfels). For Play Anywhere play, you'll want a wide open space about 500 feet across.

Had a great time with this cartridge. This was my first Wherigo cartridge and was glad to find that it was not too difficult. Played this one also to get some experience in the hopes of getting one of my own out soon. Thanks for the fun, well thought out and humerous play!

We saved this cache to be our 1500th find. We love Wherigos... this was our 7th Wherigo, and we have now found Wherigo caches in 5 different states. After our first (incorrect) guess at which artwork was real, we used my wife's iPhone to help prevent any more errors. Our 9-year-old daughter liked the art theme of this Wherigo very much. I got a little worried about the presence of some construction workers near the final, but we found the container with no issues and in good condition. Left a Shrek TB.

I really enjoyed this Wherigo. I played it using my Oregon 300 and had no problems whatsoever. I did it in the late evening, so I was unable to find the associated physical geocache. Other than that, it was a blast. Thanks.

Nice, but the unlock code didn't work.

Due to proximity I had to play anywhere. While some were obvious, I lucked out on the rest and got all 5 on the first try.
