About This Cartridge

The Buckeyes of 1968 were a great team who gave Buckeye fans many happy and exciting moments and memories. But possibly the finest indication of their greatness came at their 20th reunion in 1988 when they present their university with a $1.2 million endowment in memory of their beloved coach (Woody Hayes) a gentleman who meant a lot to them, both on and off the field.

You will play this championship season with this Wherigo cache. You will play the 9 regular season games--6 home games, 3 away games and then the Rose Bowl. Finally, you will find the National Championship Trophy (the cache).

This is the first Wherigo cache in the State of Iowa recognized by Geocaching.com. If you encounter any problems with the cartridge please notify me and I will see what needs to be re-coded to run properly.

I'll blame the heavy traffic and high humidity on one less star. The cartridge crashed at the final location and I could not get it to work after 6 tries (I had the cartridge saved up to the point of the National Trophy location). Fortunately the container was near where the GPSr kept crashing.

Great time until we about 15 ft. from cache and then gps shut down. Found cache and signed log. Wasn't going back and play car tag to get the code again. Thanks

Now this one got me a lot of stares from people in vehicles as I raced from one corner to the other. I assumed they would just think of me as a tourist running around reading the plaques. No cops showed up so I was good to go. TFTW

The entire crew was walking back and forth across the intersection this morning. The good news is that Boreal Walker is the 'man of the hour' for determining which sign to read.
