About This Cartridge

Holland is known for its Tulip Festival, but it has a very nice downtown area. That area has been enhanced by the placement of sculptures throughout the area. Your mission is to locate nine particular sculptures. The area of your hunt is bounded by 5th St on the North, 12th St to the South, Lincoln on the East, and River Ave on the West

This wherigo is probably best played on foot or on a bicycle since finding a place to park by each of the sculptures is likely to be a pain.

Worked on this one on a beautiful spring day. Decided to drive this one. Not much traffic with spring break going on. Knew where all but 2 of these were located. Did not do any research before going out to accomplish the smiley. Found one of the two quite by accident when we stopped to visit a friend. Had to go back home to research the last one. Did the research and thought we knew where it was, but didn't look any closer because we thought it was on Hope College property. Soooo came back home for more research and discovered it was where we thought, but not sure about it not being on hope college property. Anyway, it is certainly in a very public place. Found it and answered wrong. Had to redo. Answered correct and were off to the final to sign a log. Got there and parking was very close. Geo parked, but not in the parking spot and too close to the fire hydrant. I was on my knees signing the log when HPD stopped to talk to Mr Geo's Loulog. Not sure if it was because of his parking or me at the sculpture. Either way, the log was signed and we all went on our way happy. TFTC SL

Haven't been to Holland since we would travel to Skiles for lunch on Fridays in the early 80's. Boy has it changed. This is a grand way to enjoy the art. We added a quick tour through Hope. Thanks

My wife and I went out for dinner tonight and started this cache while waiting for a table. After dinner, my wife wanted to finish it up before heading home. We made all nine zones without a problem, but seem to have run stuck on the last one. It's pretty cool to realize how many statues are around the area.
