This Wherigo will take you on a tour of Detroit's Historic Woodlawn Cemetery. The cemetery was established in 1895 and immediately attracted some of the most notable names in the city.The grounds encompass 140 acres, but this tour will only cover some of the more architecturally interesting gems in the Historic section.
About This Cartridge
You will visit 12 sites of interest. You can walk it or drive; many of your stops are grouped together. After completing the tour, log your experience at GC5C08W.
Starting Location
The posted coordinates will take you to the entrance to the cemetery, where you will drive up the grand boulevard to your first of 12 stops.

We are big fans of cemetery caches in general, and in fact just wandering around cemeteries soaking up the history. Three generations of my wife's family rest here, so we have been here often - and this cemetery has to be one of the best ever. We enjoyed the cartridge/tour, and our caching friends are anxious to come back and just wander around. Thank you for all the work that went into making this possible.

This was our first Wherigo. We really enjoyed going around the cemetery and looking at the crypts and markers. We were with other caching friends and had a great day going to different cemeteries. Will definitely do another Wherigo.
