A geocache trail through Eccleshall, UK and back in time to the Wars of the Roses.
It is the eve of the Battle of Blore Heath, and Edward, Prince of Wales has gone missing. Find him before his mother - the scary Queen Margaret - notices!
Parking is readily available at GZ, but on Saturdays you may have to fight for the good spots though. Eccleshall is on several local bus routes, and some of them carry more than just air.
When you complete the game you'll be told the final coordinates,

It's been a while since I started this wherigo. It was in the good old days when we had events. The CO organised the social event and it was held in the starting pub. After the event I completed the 1st stage. Today I wanted to complete for a monthly challenge to win a geocoin set by Lisa from cache advance and Joshua the geocaching vlogger. Took me a while to get use to it again, only being my 3rd wherigo. Because GPS was moving about I had to move around a bit by each location to get it to work. I followed the script and managed to work through it. Hint was spot on and found the cache or should I say the Swan. Water inside the cache which made the blue marker pen leak and its all over my hands and marked my trousers. Managed to sign a damp log and retrieved the code, just need to find what to do with it. Thanks for the story and cache

It's been quite some time since I last WhereIGo'ed, I thought this would be a nice gentle re-intro. Played it on an Android phone, where it performed admirably; no kick-outs, no hiccups, all worked as it should.
The scamp of a Prince led me first on a pub crawl, and then down perhaps the less salubrious paths of Eccleshall, but all went to plan. At the final GZ the coords provided didn't put me in the right place, but heeding the final words of the shepherd proved helpful.

It was a lovely sunny day to walk around Eccleshall. The GPS (an Oregon) behaved perfectly and took me around the required locations. It wouldn't let me upload the completed cartridge but did accept the completion code.
