The Hines Drive Mill Tour will travel 11 miles between Northville and Westland. The posted coordinates are the starting point for the Wherigo cartridge. The coordinates of the geocache (GC4CR39) will be provided when the cartridge is completed. Parking is available at each site along the way.
About This Cartridge
This Wherigo cartridge will take you on an eleven mile tour of the historic mills along the Rouge River and Hines Drive in the suburbs near Detroit, Michigan. It is intended as a driving tour, although it can be done on bicycle.There is parking available at each site. The start point is at Mill Race Village parking lot in Northville, Michigan. Plan on taking an hour to complete the tour.
At each site you will find a historic sign where you will be asked a question you will need to answer before proceeding to the next stop. At the end you will be provided the coordinates for the geocache (GC4CR39). The cache is a small container. Please bring your own pencil or pen.
Unlocking the cartridge on Wherigo.com is not required, but would still be appreciated. You can type in the completion code provided at the end of the cartridge. If it is longer than fifteen characters, use only the first fifteen. Alternatively, you can upload the save file to the Wherigo site. The location of the

I have spent most of my life riding and playing in Hines Park. This was a great excuse to spend a winter afternoon in Hines. Its amazing how much Henry Ford affected the entire area. This was a great Whereigo!!!!!

Played with Brummelbear today and all went well except for a couple of problems at the start. Could not get it to trip at either location but when we checked the game it said we completed this requirement so I guess there was no question. Anyway a fun cartridge to do as we learned a lot playing it.

Played with rootee2t using both Android and Garmin. Both played well, but the data entry screens crashed the Garmin batteries several times. Fortunately I had saved often and did not have to repeat any steps. Overall good triggers and great info. Nice job!
