I came out by my lonesome today on a quest for my 700th cache and log my first Wherigo cache. I started off the day hoping that either this Wherigo or "By the Numbers" would mark my milestone. I honestly didn't know what to expect on the Whereigo but learned fairly quickly. Well, I grabbed my 698th one on the way to start the Wherigo, and came across an M&M hide while on the Wherigo path. Also met another cacher (tdelisle) on the route (though I don't think he was doing the Wherigo). As I finished stage 3 of the Wherigo, I looked at my GPS and saw that your letterbox was literally within 25 feet of me! So I asked myself do I skip the letterbox and go on for the Wherigo as number 700? Of course not!!! I made the quick find there figuring the milestone is not about a particular cache but rather the journey, trek, or adventure you take to get there. Fortunately the final stage was in the direction I was wanting to go so I made my way toward the cache, circled a bit, and made the find. Woo Hoo! First WherIgo Cache under my belt and on my 700th cache adventure. I had a real nice relaxing time out in Oakridge today (even placed one of my own). Thanks for the great adventure.

Enjoyed a walk out in the Oakridge Equestrian area today. Did not see the hosts out here but we missed the event. The cartridge crashed on us twice but we save after each stage and had no problems completing it today.
