A tour guide of the Law Heritage Trail round Dundee's Law hill. This off-road path is suitable for walking, cycling, buggies and dogs. Bear in mind, you're on a hill so don't expect it to be flat. There are stairs to climb towards the end of this Wherigo. An alternative stair free route is to follow the road to the summit after stage 12. Watch out for traffic.

About This Cartridge

Welcome to the Law Heritage Trail. This Wherigo will take you a tour of the Law following the blue markers, telling the history, as we know it, of this iconic landmark.

Get your walking boots on, take a couple of hours to enjoy a wander round this gem in the middle of the city.

Starting Location

Start at the Whalebone arch by the car parking area and toilets on Law Road.

This is a very well put together Wherigo taking you on a lovely walk and pointing out things of interest along the way.

We played it using the iPhone and it worked a treat.

Highly recommended.

Thanks for your cache .
We first visited this area four years ago but we had no knowledge about geocaching then. So we appreciated our friend's invitation to come here again. Therefore we can't miss the chance to visit some of local treasures and compare them with those in The Czech Republic. Hopefully we will find many nice caches in Scotland .
Today we chose Dundee as our geo-trip destination, we got on a bus at Gauldry's bus stop and got off at Dundee's bus station. We spent a whole day in this nice city, started in City Quay and walked on to Dudhope Park and afterwards to Dundee Law with its wonderful views. Our friend picked us up there and drove us to Camperdown Park, which is amazing place and so large that we couldn't possibly find all caches there. The lawn on a golf course almost felt unreal, so thick and green and perfectly mown. It was a beautiful day .
This was the only wherigo cache we did in Scotland during our stay. We liked it and there were no problems with playing it on our mobile phones. We had to look for a while at GZ, but found it in the end.
We send a favourite point as an appreciation.

This is a really well-thought-out Wherigo in which we are given a little history lesson of The Law, and in which various structures and elements of this area are brought to the attention of those who may just otherwise walk past without giving them a second glance.

It does only take about an hour and is easy to operate for first-time and seasoned Wherigo cachers alike. Don't forget to keep saving the game as you go around, but don't panic if you forget to note a number as the final co-ords are given at the end, so long as you get to that point!

The container alone is worth the effort. Beautifully-constructed, I can give no further information, but I would urge everyone to give this a go.

Worked a dream - guided round the whole green space, with information I did not know (but I should). The Trail does credit to the Iconic place that is "Dundee Law".
