Welcome to the Other side of the Queen Wherigo. This WIG will take you on a journey throughout the Long Beach park and surrounding areas while stopping at several points of interest along the way.

About This Cartridge

Play time will probably take 45-60 minutes depending on how fast you walk and answer the questions correctly. The total distance will be approximately one and a half (1.5) miles. It is best to do this during low tide times. It can be accomplished either way but, more enjoyable during a low tide. I hope you enjoy your visit and most of all, "Have Fun"!

Starting Location

While at these points of interest's, you will be given a task of answering a question based on information found at the location on plaques or information boards. Upon successful completion of these tasks, you will be guided to a Geocache in the end.

I've been wanting to play this for a while now, but last time I tried, I ran out of battery. This time I had some time to kill before my volunteer shift at the Aquarium and I had a spare battery pack.

To get started I had to reach an occupied parking spot. There were a couple of people in the car and I was shy about walking up to it, but I got close enough after a couple of circles. I learned that youngsters on their phones are oblivious to anything happening around them.

It took me a little less than an hour, but now I wish I had taken more time to read all the history at the naval memorial and light house.

Thanks for creating this. These look like a lot of work to build.
