Don't you hate it when you find an awesome place to hide a cache, but you're just not allowed?!? Well here is a Wherigo adventure dedicated to these prohibited locations.
This cartridge is designed as an introduction to Brooker Creek Preserve. Total walking distance is just under a mile and is family friendly. There is no need to leave the trail at anytime. So please don't try to straight line bushwack, just follow the trail around.
The final cache is located off of the preserve property.
Due to the unstable nature of the Wherigo platform we highly recommend periodically saving your game as you progress. If you do not and the cartridge "crashes" you will have to start again from the beginning.
Cartridge accompanies Geocache: GC1XN72

This was my first Wherigo experience. Although there was a bit of a learning curve, I really enjoyed exploring the Preserve! Finding the final cache container proved the hardest part of the experience.

Completed my first Wherigo cache today with paulherman. Once we figured out (sort of) how to use the wherigo app on my iphone we were off on a trek around the park. The route was the opposite of the route taken for the earthcache we had just finished. No problem , we got to experience the park twice. We found all of the stages with little problem and then moved on to find the well hidden physical container, great spot. The log was in excellent condition, thanks for a memorable experience.

Our first time visiting Brooker Creek Nature Preserve...what a beautiful park! Spent an enjoyable afternoon walking the trails. Completed each of the zones and succeeded in unlocking the cartridge. The Final location (....physical cache) took a bit of searching as the cache container was not just covered in palm fronds but actually buried under 6-7 inches of mud and debris. The contents inside were soaked. Found the sign-in sheet and trade items floating in pool of water. Dried out the container, dropped in a new logbook and placed everything in new Ziploc baggies, including the Rubbermaid container. Dropped it back in the recessed hole we dug it out of and placed palm fronds gently across the top. (no need to bury it!!) TFTC....giving it a FAV! Nice job on the wherigo!!
